These are among the most northern vineyards of the Barolo zone, a touch cooler and more resistant to the heat waves of recent vintages, planted on a complex mix of clay, limestone, silt, sandstone, and strains of chalk. In 2022, a challenging year, Burlotto skipped its named crus (Monvigliero, Cannubi, Acclivi) and poured
