The lower pitchers are beautifully striped and the uppers have an incredible shape

Though many people supplement its potting mixes with mineral soils

there's been few horticultural hybrids ever produced due to its slow growth rate and requirement to attain a large size before flowering

The emerging leaves have red hues and the pitchers have varying colors and spots. We expect them to develop strong waists and domed lids like clipeata as they mature.
